The much-awaited trailer of Drishyam: The Conclusion has been released, promising another gripping battle of wits for Vijay Salgaonkar. Played by Ajay Devgn, Vijay once again finds himself trying to protect his family while staying ahead of the police.
The third and final chapter introduces a new challenge in the form of SP Crime Branch Rajveer Singh Tomar, played by Jaideep Ahlawat. Unlike the investigators Vijay has faced before, Rajveer appears determined to dismantle the story Vijay has carefully protected for years.
The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on October 2.
Drishyam: The Conclusion Trailer: Ajay Devgn Gets a New Opponent
Set after the events of Drishyam 2, the trailer introduces a new mystery that becomes the centre of the story.
Jaideep Ahlawat’s Rajveer Singh Tomar takes charge of the investigation and appears unwilling to accept Vijay’s version of events at face value. His objective is clear: find the truth and expose the lies that have remained hidden for years.
This sets up another tense game of cat and mouse between Vijay and the investigating officers. Vijay once again attempts to remain several moves ahead, but this time, the circumstances appear to be working against him.
Unlike the earlier films, Vijay seems noticeably more vulnerable. The threat surrounding him and his family appears to be coming from several directions, making his carefully planned strategy harder to maintain.
Tabu Returns as IGP Meera Deshmukh
Tabu reprises her role as IGP Meera Deshmukh, bringing back one of Vijay’s most persistent adversaries.
Meera’s personal desire for revenge against Vijay and his family remains an important part of the story. The trailer also features Prakash Raj, whose character hints that underestimating Vijay could prove to be a serious mistake.
With multiple investigators now closing in, the final confrontation between Vijay and the police looks set to be more unpredictable than ever.
Vijay’s Family Is Once Again at the Centre of the Story
Vijay’s wife Nandini, played by Shriya Saran, and their daughters return as key parts of the story.
The family continues to live under the shadow of the secret they have been trying to protect. Vijay remains determined to do whatever it takes to keep his loved ones safe, but the trailer suggests that even his ability to control the situation may finally be tested.
At one point, Vijay reflects on the uncertainty surrounding his latest challenge, saying, “I don’t know from where the danger will come this time. Now, this game isn’t about mind anymore. It is about luck.”
The line captures the central tension of the upcoming film: can Vijay’s intelligence and planning once again save his family, or has his luck finally run out?
