The Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance anime has released a new music video featuring “Anchor Flame,” the insert song from Episode 10 of the ongoing series.
The anime music video was shared through the official YouTube channel for the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha franchise and highlights footage from the latest installment of the series. The song is performed by Nana Mizuki, the longtime voice actress behind Fate Testarossa, one of the franchise’s central characters.
Mizuki has portrayed Fate since the original Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha television anime debuted in 2004. She also returns as Fate in EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance.
“Anchor Flame” Released Digitally
The Episode 10 insert song, “Anchor Flame,” became available on digital music platforms on September 6, 2026.
The track made an impressive early showing on the Oricon Daily Digital Single Chart, entering at No. 8 on its first day of release.
Fans will also be able to hear “Anchor Flame” as part of Nana Mizuki’s upcoming 44th CD single, “Akatsuki no Hoshi.” The single is scheduled to arrive on October 21, 2026, and its title track serves as the opening theme for the second cour of the TV anime Red River.

As the newest anime project in the long-running Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha franchise, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance began broadcasting in Japan on July 4.
The series is directed by Takayuki Hamana and animated by Seven Arcs. Franchise creator Masaki Tsuzuki is responsible for the original story and screenplay.
Issei Arakaki handles the character designs and serves as chief animation director, while Shuichi Kawakami provides the original character sketches along with designs for the series’ devices and barrier jackets.
