The upcoming television anime adaptation of Enma Akiyama’s manga Noa Is My Senior, and My Friend (Noa-senpai wa Tomodachi) is scheduled to premiere in 2027. The announcement was made on Sunday through the anime’s official X account, which also revealed the first key visual and confirmed the two lead voice actors.
Rina Kawaguchi will voice Noa Saotome, an art director working at a video game company, while Tomoya Ito will play Rihito Otsuka, her easygoing colleague who prefers to conserve his energy rather than put in unnecessary effort.
The newly released key visual features Noa and Rihito sitting beside each other. Character line-art designs for both protagonists have also been unveiled for the first time.
The production team has yet to announce the exact premiere date, broadcast channels or streaming platforms for the series.

What Is Noa-senpai wa Tomodachi About?
The series is an office comedy centred on Noa and Rihito, two colleagues whose relationship develops beyond their usual workplace interactions.
Rihito discovers a side of Noa that she normally keeps hidden from others. This unexpected discovery brings the two closer, leading them to develop a special friendship that continues after work.
The story explores their connection as they begin to see each other differently outside the office, forming the basis of the series’ workplace humour and character-driven narrative.
