Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming epic Ramayana: Part 1, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash, is reportedly set to receive a special screening for political leaders at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on November 5, the same day the film is scheduled for its worldwide release.
The makers are currently seeking the necessary permissions to organise the screening. The event has not yet been officially confirmed.
A source quoted in the report stated that the proposed screening would add a high-profile engagement to the launch of what is being described as one of Indian cinema’s most ambitious projects. Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash and director Nitesh Tiwari are expected to attend the event if it goes ahead.
Apart from the proposed Rashtrapati Bhavan screening, the makers are reportedly planning two premieres for the film. One is expected to take place at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai, while another is being planned in Delhi for dignitaries.
With its grand scale, celebrated cast and ambitious retelling of the epic Ramayana, the film is generating considerable anticipation ahead of its scheduled release. However, the proposed screening at Rashtrapati Bhavan remains subject to official approval and confirmation from the makers.
