The final movie in the Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club trilogy has unveiled a new teaser trailer, confirming its Japanese theatrical release for February 5, 2027. The announcement offers fans a fresh preview of the concluding chapter in the school-idol anime story.
Final Movie Brings the Trilogy to a Close
The upcoming film is the third and final instalment in the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club movie trilogy. The first chapter premiered in Japan in September 2024, followed by the second film in November 2025.
The final chapter continues the story beyond the television anime and the NEXT SKY original video animation, bringing the characters closer to the conclusion of their theatrical journey.

The story follows the school idols as they return to Tokyo for the final round of the School Idol GPX competition. After activities in Okinawa, Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe, the members are ready to take the stage with their own hopes and ambitions.
