Amazon Prime Video India has added Sony LIV to its range of add-on subscriptions, giving viewers another way to access movies, original web series, television programmes and live sports through a single platform.
Announced on October 21, 2026, the partnership allows customers to subscribe to Sony LIV through Prime Video instead of switching between separate streaming apps to find their favourite content.

The service is available on supported mobile devices, web browsers, Fire TV devices, smart TVs and other compatible home entertainment devices.
Popular Shows, Movies and Original Series
The combined offering gives viewers access to Sony LIV’s catalogue of more than 450 movies and 300 shows. Its content includes original series such as Scam and Gullak, along with films such as Sitaare Zameen Par.
Viewers can also find popular television programmes, including Kaun Banega Crorepati, Indian Idol, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Pushpa Impossible. Reality and entertainment programmes such as KBC Season 18 and Indian Idol Season 17 are also part of Sony LIV’s offering.
Live Sports and Regional Entertainment
Live sports are another major part of the service. Sony LIV’s coverage includes bilateral India cricket, the UEFA Champions League, the French Open, the Commonwealth Games and UFC events.
The platform also provides entertainment in several languages, including Hindi, English, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Gujarati. India’s upcoming tour of New Zealand, featuring Test matches, One Day Internationals and T20 Internationals, is scheduled to begin on October 22.
