The upcoming mythological epic Ramayana: Part One, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, has recorded a strong opening in advance ticket sales ahead of its scheduled theatrical release on November 5, 2026. Advance bookings opened in India on October 20, with early sales crossing the ₹5 crore mark, according to box-office tracking updates.
More Than 86,000 Tickets Sold
The film’s first day of advance booking generated considerable interest among moviegoers. Early figures reported around 86,000 tickets sold across thousands of screenings. The National Capital Region emerged as one of the leading markets, while Mumbai also contributed significantly to the early collections.
The reported figures can vary depending on when tracking data is updated and whether blocked seats are included in the gross total.
Premium Ticket Prices Draw Attention
Ticket prices have also become a talking point, with some premium IMAX 3D seats in Mumbai reportedly listed at up to ₹2,770. Prices differ by cinema, location, screening format and seat category, so standard tickets may cost considerably less.
Ranbir Kapoor and Yash Lead the Epic
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. The project is planned as a two-part cinematic saga and has generated attention for its large-scale presentation of the Ramayana.
The makers have been building anticipation ahead of the release, including promotional material featuring Yash as Ravana. With advance sales underway, the film’s next box-office milestone will be its opening performance when it reaches cinemas on November 5.
