Japanese singer and voice actress Nana Mizuki has released the music video for “Akatsuki no Hoshi,” the opening theme for the second part of the Red River anime. The music video has arrived alongside the release of Mizuki’s 44th CD single, giving fans a new way to experience the song beyond the anime’s weekly episodes.
New Song Adds to the Anime’s Historical Fantasy Atmosphere
Mizuki also voices Ursula in Red River, connecting her music release directly to the series. The second part of the anime began airing in late September, and the new opening theme accompanies the continuing story of Yuri, a modern Japanese teenager transported to the ancient Hittite Empire.
Story Continues With Royal Intrigue and Ancient History
The anime follows Yuri as she adapts to life in the Hittite Empire, where political rivalries, palace conspiracies and conflicts over the throne shape her future. Her connection with Prince Kail becomes increasingly important as she navigates the unfamiliar world and earns recognition for her courage. The new opening theme video offers fans another way to enjoy the series’ historical-fantasy atmosphere while the second cour continues to unfold.
