Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund has introduced a new facility called YUVA SIP, allowing eligible investors to make daily mutual fund investments starting at just ₹10 per instalment. The facility became available through the NSE MF Invest platform under the Growth option of eligible schemes.
What Has Changed in the SIP Rules?
Under the revised terms, the minimum daily SIP amount has been reduced from ₹500 to ₹10. The minimum number of instalments has also been revised from six to 1,300.
The facility is available only for eligible schemes and is subject to the applicable scheme documents and platform conditions. Investors should confirm the requirements for their chosen fund before registering.
How Could Small Daily Investments Help?
A daily SIP gives investors the option to invest smaller amounts at frequent intervals instead of making a larger monthly contribution. It may suit people who prefer to build a regular investing habit with small instalments.
However, investing frequently does not guarantee higher returns. Mutual fund values can rise or fall, and the outcome depends on the scheme’s investments, costs and market performance.
What Investors Should Check Before Starting
Before opening a YUVA SIP, investors should review the scheme’s investment objective, risk level, expense ratio and applicable terms. They should also ensure that the contribution amount and duration fit their financial circumstances.
The ₹10 minimum makes the daily instalment smaller, but investors should still understand the minimum instalment requirement and the overall commitment before signing up.
