Indian mutual fund investors will have several new fund offers (NFOs) to consider starting October 26, 2026. The upcoming launches cover different segments, including real estate stocks, power-sector companies, silver and financial-services debt.
Five funds are scheduled to open for subscription during the week. Four are passively managed, while one is actively managed. An NFO gives investors an opportunity to subscribe to a newly launched mutual fund scheme during its initial offer period, but a new launch does not automatically make a fund a better investment.
Kotak Realty Index Fund Opens October 26
The Kotak Nifty Realty Index Fund is scheduled to open on October 26 and close on November 9, 2026. Its minimum investment amount is ₹1,000.
The index fund is designed to provide exposure to the real estate sector through the underlying index. Its performance will depend on the shares included in that index and movements in the property market.
ICICI Prudential BSE Power ETF Opens October 26
The ICICI Prudential BSE Power ETF is scheduled to accept subscriptions from October 26 to October 30. The minimum investment amount is ₹1,000.
As an exchange-traded fund tracking a power-sector index, its performance will be linked to the underlying securities and the broader electricity and energy industry.
Two Silver Funds Open on October 27
The Invesco India Silver ETF and Invesco India Silver ETF Fund of Fund (FoF) are scheduled to open on October 27 and close on November 9.
The minimum investment amount is ₹5,000 for the Silver ETF and ₹1,000 for the FoF. Both products provide exposure to silver, but they use different investment structures. Silver prices can fluctuate considerably, and these funds do not guarantee returns.
UTI Financial Services Debt Fund Opens October 27
The UTI Financial Services Debt Fund is scheduled to open on October 27 and close on November 2, 2026. The minimum investment amount is ₹500.
The fund focuses on debt instruments associated with the financial-services sector. Investors should review its scheme documents, credit exposure, interest-rate risk and investment objective before subscribing.
What Investors Should Check Before Investing
Before choosing an NFO, investors should examine the scheme’s investment strategy, expenses, benchmark, risk level and how it fits into their existing portfolio. Minimum investment requirements alone do not indicate whether a fund is suitable.
The opening and closing dates are scheduled dates and should be checked against the relevant fund house’s official documents. Mutual funds carry investment risks, and returns are not guaranteed.
