The popular anime Fate/Zero is set to return to Japanese television in November through a special broadcast featuring seven episodes selected by fans. The screenings will take place across four nights on Fuji TV in Japan’s Kanto region, giving viewers another opportunity to revisit key moments from the series.
The special broadcast is part of a larger project celebrating works connected to TYPE-MOON and animation studio ufotable, ahead of the theatrical release of Witch on the Holy Night.
Seven Episodes to Be Shown Across Four Nights
The selection broadcast will begin on November 2, 2026, with the first episode, titled “Summoning of the Heroic Spirits.” The remaining six episodes will be distributed across three additional broadcast nights.
The episodes were selected through a fan vote involving all 25 episodes of the anime. The specific episodes scheduled for the later broadcasts will be announced after the preceding night’s programme has aired.
The planned schedule is November 2, November 4, November 11 and November 13. The broadcasts will be available on terrestrial television in the Kanto region only.
Special Project Connects Fate/Zero and Witch on the Holy Night
The television event is part of the “Let’s Watch Together! TYPE-MOON × ufotable” project, which aims to bring the two creative partners’ works closer to audiences.
The campaign comes ahead of the November 20, 2026, theatrical release of Witch on the Holy Night. The upcoming film has also helped bring renewed attention to the wider TYPE-MOON universe and its connections with ufotable’s animated productions.
What Fans Can Expect From the Broadcast
By allowing viewers to choose the episodes, the special programme gives the audience a direct role in shaping the selection. It also offers both returning viewers and fans discovering the series another chance to experience Fate/Zero on Japanese television.
However, the broadcast is limited to Japan’s Kanto region, so viewers elsewhere should check their local availability rather than assume the television event will be accessible in their area.
