Representatives from several major travel companies attended the gathering, including TUI, Expedia, Trip.com, Kuoni, Trailfinders, Southall Travel and Akbar Travels.
London Gatwick Airport representatives also participated in discussions about strengthening international travel connections.
Air India and Tourism Ministry Join Hands
Air India and India’s Ministry of Tourism have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly promote the country in international markets.
The partnership focuses on tourism marketing, destination promotion, international trade engagement, transit tourism and improving the overall visitor experience.
India Targets More International Tourists
The collaboration aims to use Air India’s expanding international network to make Indian destinations more accessible to overseas travellers.
India’s cultural heritage, historical attractions, natural landscapes and diverse travel experiences are expected to remain important parts of the promotional campaign.
The initiative reflects growing cooperation between the aviation and tourism industries to strengthen India’s position in the international travel market.
