Guru Randhawa is set to return to the live music scene with a major concert in New Delhi after a break from large-scale live performances. Titled The Sirra Era Live, the concert will take place on December 12, 2026, at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
The event will mark Guru’s first solo stadium show and his first major live performance in the capital since 2023. Tickets will be available exclusively through District by Zomato.
Alongside the announcement, the singer shared a video reflecting on his musical journey, the success of his independent releases and the challenges he faced during his time away from live concerts.
Guru Randhawa Reflects on His Musical Journey
On Wednesday, Guru shared a video on Instagram looking back at his journey from Punjab to becoming a recognised name in the music industry. He also expressed gratitude to his fans for supporting him through different phases of his career and promised a special experience at his upcoming concert.
Recalling his last major phase of touring in 2023, the singer said he had spent years performing at back-to-back shows before stepping away to deal with personal challenges privately.
He explained that the break gave him an opportunity to rebuild himself and discover a different side of his personality. Guru also acknowledged the difficult experiences he chose to handle away from the public eye, describing the period as a time of personal growth.
Guru Randhawa Addresses Online Criticism of His Songs
The singer also spoke about the response to his independent music and the criticism surrounding several of his recent tracks, including Sirra, AZUL and fine Shyt.
Reflecting on his independent releases in 2025, Guru highlighted songs such as QATAL SIRRA, AZUL, PERFECT, PAN INDIA, SHKINI and DOPAMINE. He credited the success of these projects to the support he received and his continued commitment to his work.
Guru alleged that targeted campaigns attempted to create negativity around his 2026 releases. However, he said he chose to remain respectful and trust the process, believing that consistent work would ultimately speak for itself.
The Sirra Era Live Marks His Return to the Stage
Guru said that despite the success of his music, he missed the experience of performing his songs in front of audiences. He acknowledged receiving numerous messages from fans asking when he would return to live concerts.
According to the singer, he received several performance offers, but the plans did not match his vision. He wanted his comeback to be a carefully planned production rather than an ordinary concert.
Guru explained that the upcoming show had been developed from scratch through extensive effort and dedication. He promised to give his best performance and thanked fans for standing by him during his time away from the stage.
With The Sirra Era Live, Guru Randhawa is preparing for a significant return to live performances, bringing his musical journey back to the audience with his first solo stadium concert in Delhi.
