HFCL Limited has sharply increased its revenue growth target for the 2026–27 financial year, reflecting stronger demand for telecom infrastructure, optical fibre products and connectivity solutions used by data centres.
The company now expects revenue to grow by at least 80% over FY26, raising its projection from 40% following its first-quarter performance. Its original growth target had been around 20%.
Strong Demand From AI and Data Centre Businesses
HFCL’s revised outlook comes as demand increases for infrastructure supporting artificial intelligence, large-scale data centres and telecommunications networks. The company said business opportunities with international technology companies and telecom operators are progressing towards firm contracts.
Its order book stood at approximately ₹28,900 crore, providing visibility into projects across its business segments.
Company Reports Strong Quarterly Numbers
For the September quarter of FY27, HFCL reported consolidated revenue of approximately ₹2,542 crore, compared with around ₹1,043 crore in the corresponding quarter a year earlier.
Net profit was reported at approximately ₹394 crore, up from about ₹72 crore in the year-ago period. The results represent a significant improvement in the company’s financial performance.
₹1,800 Crore Investment Planned for Manufacturing
HFCL also plans to invest around ₹1,800 crore in optical fibre, optical fibre cable and preform manufacturing. The investment is intended to expand production capacity and strengthen its manufacturing operations.
The company’s increased growth target reflects its current business pipeline and demand outlook. However, achieving the target will depend on the execution of projects, customer demand and broader market conditions.
