British pop group Take That is set to perform in India for the first time at the 2026 Earthshot Prize ceremony in Mumbai on November 17. The appearance will bring the group to an Indian audience as part of an international event focused on environmental solutions and sustainability.
Take That Prepares for Its First India Performance
The group, known for its long-running pop career, is scheduled to perform at the upcoming ceremony. The event will be a significant milestone for Indian fans who have not previously had the opportunity to see Take That perform live in the country.
The announcement also comes ahead of the group’s 10th album, Dreamers, which is scheduled for release on November 20, 2026.
A Major Event in Mumbai
The Earthshot Prize ceremony was established by Prince William to recognise and support solutions to environmental challenges. Mumbai will host the 2026 edition, bringing together performers, public figures and people working on conservation and sustainability initiatives.
Actors Rami Malek and Simone Ashley, along with conservationist Robert Irwin, are also expected to be involved in the event. Indian filmmaker Karan Johar is set to host the ceremony.
Music and Environmental Innovation Come Together
Indian composer and music producer Shashwat Sachdev will create the event’s finale, featuring music from his catalogue, Shades of Cashmere.
The ceremony combines entertainment with the Earthshot Prize’s wider mission of encouraging practical solutions that help protect and restore the planet. Take That’s scheduled performance adds an international music element to the Mumbai event.
