The upcoming romantic comedy anime ** Wound & Bandage ** has revealed a new teaser trailer and visual, along with two additional voice actors. The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on January 9, 2027.
Yuka Iguchi and Yoko Hikasa Join the Cast
The latest announcement confirms two new additions to the voice cast:
- Yuka Iguchi as Magical Penpengusa
- Yoko Hikasa as Matsu Daemon
They join the previously announced main cast, featuring Hisako Kanemoto as Riyo, Chikahiro Kobayashi as Kiritani and Shoya Ishige as Ginsuke Hatobane.
A Quirky Romantic Comedy Story
The story centres on the daughter of a yakuza family and the captain assigned to look after her. Their unusual personalities and unexpected interactions form the basis of this romantic comedy, bringing humour and relationship drama into the series.
New Teaser Trailer Released
The newly released promotional video introduces the characters and offers a preview of the anime’s atmosphere. A fresh teaser visual was also shared alongside the cast announcement, giving viewers another glimpse of the upcoming adaptation.
Animation Team and Premiere Date
Miyuki Ishida is directing the anime, with Susumu Yamakawa handling series composition and Natsuki Oyama working on character designs. Animation production is being handled by J.C.STAFF.
The original manga is created by Umihoshi Nanai and began serialization in August 2024. The anime is set to premiere on January 9, 2027 in Japan
