Indian Railways has announced additional special train services to accommodate rising passenger demand on long-distance routes. The move includes extra trips between Mysuru and Darbhanga, along with an extension of services connecting Charlapalli and Santragachi.
The additional trains are expected to give passengers more travel options across several states during a busy travel period.
Mysuru–Darbhanga Special Train Schedule
The Mysuru–Darbhanga special service will operate for five trips. Train 06211 is scheduled to depart Mysuru at 8:05 pm on Tuesdays, with services planned through November 24.
The train is scheduled to reach Darbhanga at 11:30 am on Thursday. The return service, Train 06212, is planned to run on Saturdays from October 31 through November 28, departing Darbhanga at 7:05 am and arriving in Mysuru at 7:10 pm on Sunday.
Charlapalli–Santragachi Services Extended
Railways has also extended the Charlapalli–Santragachi special service by four additional trips. Train 07221 is scheduled to run on Saturdays from November 7 to November 28, while the return service, Train 07222, is planned for Sundays from November 8 to November 29.
The route serves several important stations, including Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Duvvada, Vizianagaram, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Balasore and Kharagpur.
What Passengers Should Know
The extra services are intended to help manage passenger demand and provide more options for long-distance journeys. Travellers should check the latest railway timetable, station stops, seat availability and ticket status before travelling, as special-train schedules may be subject to operational changes.
The additional trips could be particularly useful for passengers travelling between Karnataka, Bihar, Telangana and West Bengal.
