The upcoming television anime Charisma has received a new teaser trailer, giving fans their first look at the animated series. The announcement was made during the franchise’s fifth-anniversary event in Tokyo .
Anime Premiere Date Confirmed
The series will begin broadcasting on January 7, 2027, on TBS and its 28 affiliated television stations across Japan. New episodes are scheduled every Thursday at 11:56 p.m. (Japan time).
The newly released teaser offers a preview of the seven main characters and their chaotic everyday experiences while living together in Charisma House.
Two More Voice Actors Join the Cast
The production team has announced two additional cast members:
- Shinnosuke Tachibana as Soemon Nakagami
- Tomohiro Ohno as Hiiragi Torahime
They join the previously announced voice cast, which includes Yuki Ono, Masahiro Yamanaka, Katsumi Fukuhara, Kenta Hosoda, Saku Hyuga, Genki Okawa and Tomohisa Hashizume.
Pierrot Films Handles Animation
The anime is directed by Joji Furuta, with Shū Matsubara overseeing the series composition and screenplay. Character designs are being handled by Haru Watanabe, while Gesshoku Kaigi is composing the music. Animation production is being handled by Pierrot Films.
The story follows seven young men living together in a shared house, each representing a different form of charisma. The original multimedia project was launched in 2021 by Dazed and EVIL LINE RECORDS.
A short anime version is also scheduled to begin airing on TBS on November 4, giving fans an earlier look at the franchise’s animated world
