Story of Daemons of the Shadow Realm
Daemons of the Shadow Realm is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa, best known for creating Fullmetal Alchemist. The manga has been serialised in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine since December 2021, with the publisher also releasing the series in English.
The story takes place in a world where certain people can control powerful supernatural beings known as Daemons. At the centre of the plot are twins Yuru and Asa, whose birthright connects them to these extraordinary entities.
Separated when they were young and unaware of the truth surrounding their origins, the siblings must fight to reunite, discover their inheritance and protect the world. The second season is expected to continue the adaptation of Arakawa’s fantasy manga.
