Frankfurt Airport is expanding its international flight network for the 2026–27 winter travel season, adding new connections to Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. The schedule begins on October 25, 2026, and runs through March 27, 2027, giving travellers more options for winter holidays and international journeys.
Flights to 231 Destinations Across 92 Countries
The winter timetable will feature 80 airlines serving 231 destinations in 92 countries. The airport expects around 3,400 departures and approximately 650,000 seats each week, maintaining its position as Germany’s leading international aviation hub.
New Connections to Asia and the Middle East
Lufthansa will introduce a new nonstop route from Frankfurt to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with five flights per week.
Air Arabia will begin daily flights to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates from December 15. Condor is scheduled to launch daily services to Abu Dhabi on November 4 in partnership with Etihad Airways, while Etihad plans to add another daily Frankfurt–Abu Dhabi service from December.
These additions will give passengers more choices when planning journeys to destinations across Asia and the Middle East.
More Flights to North Africa and India
Discover Airlines will introduce twice-weekly winter flights between Frankfurt and Agadir, a coastal destination in Morocco. Royal Air Maroc will also extend its seasonal service to Nador, Morocco, to operate throughout the year.
Air India is increasing its weekly services between Frankfurt and both Delhi and Mumbai. The revised schedule will bring flights to Delhi to 13 per week and Mumbai to six per week.
What the New Schedule Means for Travellers
The expanded timetable provides more direct connections and additional flight choices for people planning winter holidays, visiting family or travelling for business. However, individual routes and departure frequencies may change, so passengers should check their airline’s latest timetable before booking or travelling.
