Internationally acclaimed composer Hans Zimmer agreed to be part of the upcoming Indian epic Ramayana even before the film’s creative pitch had been fully presented, according to producer Namit Malhotra.
An Early Commitment from the Composer
Malhotra revealed that Zimmer showed interest in the ambitious project at a very early stage. His willingness to join before the presentation was completed reflected the scale of the vision behind the film and the creative possibilities of bringing the Indian epic to a global audience.
A Major International Collaboration
Zimmer is widely recognised for composing music for major international films. His association with Ramayana brings an important international dimension to the film’s musical team and has attracted attention from cinema audiences.
Building a Global Vision for Ramayana
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. The makers are positioning the project as a large-scale cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic, with a combination of Indian storytelling and international creative talent.
Zimmer’s early decision to join the project has added to the excitement surrounding the film, which is scheduled for a major theatrical release.
