HFCL reported a sharp improvement in its financial performance for the quarter, with net profit rising 448% year-on-year to ₹394 crore. The company had posted a net profit of ₹71.92 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The strong results were accompanied by substantial growth in revenue and operating earnings, while the company’s shares climbed to their upper trading limit during the session.
Revenue and Operating Profit Record Strong Growth
HFCL’s revenue increased 144% year-on-year to ₹2,542 crore, reflecting a significant rise compared with the same period a year earlier.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 224% to ₹658 crore. The company’s EBITDA margin also expanded by 640 basis points to 25.89%, indicating an improvement in operating profitability.
HFCL Shares Hit the 5% Upper Circuit
Following the results, HFCL shares touched the 5% upper circuit at ₹268.70 on the BSE, compared with the previous close of ₹255.95.
The stock has gained nearly 300% so far this year, drawing attention from market participants. However, sharp price movements do not guarantee that the stock will continue rising, and investors should assess company performance, valuation and risk before making decisions.
What Investors Will Watch Next
Investors are likely to focus on whether HFCL can sustain its revenue growth and profitability in upcoming quarters. Future performance, operating margins and the company’s ability to maintain business momentum will remain important factors when evaluating its results.
The latest quarterly figures show a substantial year-on-year improvement, although one quarter alone cannot establish whether the same growth rate will continue.
