Travellers visiting the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, now have another attraction to explore. A new rainforest experience offers artificial rainfall, waterfalls, lush greenery and an elevated glass skywalk, creating a nature-inspired escape throughout the year.
A Rainforest Experience in Every Season
Spread across 12 acres, the attraction recreates a monsoon-like atmosphere with the help of 20 rain-gun towers. Visitors can explore landscaped greenery, bubble fountains and cascading waterfalls, along with plant species representing different regions of India, including the Western Ghats, the Himalayas and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Glass Skywalk Is a Major Highlight
One of the main attractions is a circular elevated glass walkway. It features 132 Korean glass panels, each 35 mm thick, allowing visitors to look down at the rainforest landscape while enjoying views of the surrounding area.
An information centre also introduces visitors to rainforest ecology, biodiversity and conservation through displays and illustrations.
Timings and Ticket Prices
The rainforest attraction is open from 8 AM to 6 PM, with the last entry at 5 PM. Tickets are priced at ₹100 for adults and ₹50 for children aged 3 to 15 years.
A New Stop for Gujarat Visitors
The attraction adds another experience to the growing tourism circuit around the Statue of Unity. It may appeal to families, nature lovers and visitors interested in exploring something beyond the monument itself.
Travellers should confirm timings and ticket details before visiting, as arrangements can change.
