New Delhi: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has expanded his digital presence by launching his official YouTube channel on Friday, October 9. The actor announced the launch through Instagram Stories, sharing a short video built around the alphabet to introduce his new platform.
In the announcement, Salman recited the alphabet before revealing his plans for the channel. He wrote, “Shuru se shuru karte hain… Mera official YouTube channel. A se Z tak sab yahan milega.”
The channel quickly attracted attention, crossing 14,000 subscribers within approximately an hour of going live. Although the actor has not yet shared a detailed content plan, the launch has raised curiosity about what he intends to offer viewers.
Salman Khan’s YouTube Channel Starts With 10 Shorts
Salman’s official YouTube page introduces him with a short description: “Film actor. Artist. Painter. Humanitarian. This is my official channel.”
At launch, the channel featured 10 YouTube Shorts, giving fans an initial look at the content available on the platform. So far, the actor has not announced a regular posting schedule or explained what future videos will feature.
The new channel provides Salman with another way to connect directly with his audience outside his films and television appearances. Whether he will share behind-the-scenes footage, promotional videos or personal moments remains to be seen.

Salman’s entry adds another major Bollywood name to the list of celebrities connecting with fans through the video-sharing platform.
Salman Khan’s Upcoming Films and Television Projects
The YouTube launch comes as Salman continues his television work and prepares for upcoming film projects. He is currently hosting Bigg Boss 20, marking his 15th stint as the reality show’s host.
On the big screen, the actor is set to appear in Maatrubhumi, which was previously titled Battle of Galwan. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film also stars Chitrangda Singh. Following a delay, a revised release date has not yet been announced.
Salman is also associated with filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally’s upcoming project, SVC63, reportedly titled Monster. The film features Nayanthara alongside Salman and is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on Eid 2027.
