Shah Rukh Khan is known for his dedication to his performances, and a recent revelation from the choreographers of his upcoming film King has offered another glimpse into his working style.
Choreographer duo Piyush-Shazia recently shared their experience of working with the superstar on the film’s first song, Tu Mil Jaaye, which also features Deepika Padukone. According to the duo, Shah Rukh was enthusiastic about experimenting with their ideas and welcomed their fresh approach to the song.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Special Request During Rehearsals
The choreographers revealed that their first rehearsal with Shah Rukh took place at his gym. During the session, the actor reportedly asked them to continue rehearsing with him until he performed the steps correctly.
They were impressed by his commitment and said that he worked hard while also making the people around him feel comfortable and valued.
A Different Style for ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’
Unlike a conventional dance track, Tu Mil Jaaye has been designed around a particular mood and atmosphere. The choreographers focused on keeping the movements natural and effortless rather than filling the song with complicated dance steps.
The track combines romantic moments with the intense personality of Shah Rukh’s character in the film. The team also worked on creating a distinctive visual style for the song.
Shah Rukh and Deepika Reunite on Screen
The song brings Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone together once again after their previous successful collaborations. Sachin-Jigar have composed the music, while Kumaar has written the lyrics.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, King also stars Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Raghav Juyal, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi and Abhay Verma. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on December 24.
The song has added to the excitement surrounding the upcoming film, particularly among fans looking forward to seeing Shah Rukh and Deepika share the screen again.
