Actor Varun Dhawan has shared a cheerful moment with his former Student of the Year co-star Sidharth Malhotra and Sidharth’s wife, Kiara Advani. The actor posted a photograph with the couple, giving fans a glimpse of their friendly bond.
A Reunion That Delighted Fans
Varun shared the picture on social media and warmly referred to Sidharth as “my brother”. He also thanked Kiara for her hospitality. The post quickly caught the attention of fans who enjoyed seeing the actors together again.
The Heated Rivalry Joke Behind the Reunion
The reunion came shortly after Varun appeared on Koffee With Karan Season 9. During a rapid-fire segment, host Karan Johar asked him which actor he would choose for an Indian adaptation of the Canadian series Heated Rivalry. Varun immediately picked Sidharth, joking about the chemistry they shared in their 2012 debut film.
Sidharth and Karan Johar React
Sidharth also joined the fun by resharing Varun’s photograph with the playful response, “You’ll always be my first.” Karan Johar reacted to the reunion as well, recalling the characters Rohan and Abhimanyu from Student of the Year and celebrating their lasting friendship.
Fans Want Another Film Together
Varun and Sidharth made their Bollywood debuts together in Karan Johar’s 2012 film Student of the Year, which also introduced Alia Bhatt. Although they have not reunited for another film since then, their latest social media exchange has renewed fans’ interest in seeing them share the screen again.
The friendly reunion has become a talking point among fans, with many hoping that the two actors will collaborate on a new project in the future.
