New Facilities Aim to Improve the Visitor Experience
Tripura has introduced upgraded visitor facilities at Sepahijala with the reopening of a renovated resort and the launch of a new electric-bike service. The initiatives are intended to make exploring the area more convenient while encouraging environmentally conscious tourism.
The projects were inaugurated by Tripura Forest Minister Animesh Debbarma as part of efforts to improve tourism infrastructure and offer visitors more ways to experience the state’s natural attractions.
E-Bikes Offer a New Way to Explore
The newly introduced e-bike service is designed to support easier, lower-emission exploration of the destination. Electric bikes can offer visitors an alternative to conventional motor transport for suitable local journeys, while helping tourism operators develop nature-focused experiences.
The renovated Sepahijala Resort is also expected to improve the facilities available to visitors and strengthen the destination’s appeal for people seeking a nature-oriented getaway.
Eco-Tourism Remains a Key Focus
Sepahijala is known for its natural surroundings and wildlife-related attractions. Improving accommodation and visitor transport can help make trips more accessible, while sustainable planning remains important to protect the environment that draws travellers to the area.
The resort upgrade and e-bike launch form part of Tripura’s broader efforts to develop tourism experiences that combine visitor comfort with nature-based exploration.
