Actress Nazriya Nazim is making her return to Tamil cinema after a gap of nearly 12 years with Suriya’s upcoming film Scene. The project also marks her first on-screen collaboration with Suriya, making it a notable addition to her film career.
Nazriya Explains Her Long Break From Tamil Films
Speaking at the film’s pre-release event, Nazriya clarified that she had not deliberately rejected three earlier film offers from Suriya. She explained that scheduling conflicts and other misunderstandings had prevented those projects from moving forward.
The actress said she was waiting for the right story and character before returning to Tamil cinema. She also expressed happiness about working with director Jithu Madhavan and revealed that she has performed action sequences in the film.
Suriya Plays a Police Officer
Directed by Jithu Madhavan, Scene is described as a mystery entertainer with comedy elements. Suriya plays DSP Inbaraj, while Nazriya and Naslen appear in important roles. John Vijay and Anand Raj are also part of the supporting cast.
Theatrical Release on November 6
The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on November 6, 2026, as a Diwali release. Nazriya’s comeback after 12 years and her first collaboration with Suriya have added to audience interest.
