Vietnam Airlines is set to introduce direct flights between Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and Hanoi, Vietnam, from November 3, 2026. The new service will provide travellers with a more convenient way to travel between western India and Vietnam’s capital.
Four Flights Every Week
The airline will operate four weekly services on the Ahmedabad–Hanoi route, scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The launch will add Ahmedabad to Vietnam Airlines’ existing Indian network, which includes Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Better Connectivity for Tourism and Business
The new connection is expected to support travel between India and Vietnam for holidays, business trips and meetings. Travellers from Gujarat and neighbouring areas will have a direct flight option for reaching Hanoi, potentially making travel planning simpler.
Exploring Hanoi and Northern Vietnam
Hanoi is known for its historic streets, cultural attractions and distinctive Vietnamese cuisine. It can also serve as a starting point for exploring destinations across northern Vietnam. The new route offers another option for Indian travellers planning a visit to the region.
With Ahmedabad becoming the airline’s fifth Indian destination, the service represents a further expansion of air links between India and Vietnam. Travellers should check current schedules, fares and baggage rules with the airline before booking.
