The upcoming children’s anime Pero Pero★Sparkles has revealed its main voice cast, production team and a colourful new key visual. The series is based on original characters created by illustrator Yurie Sekiya and is being produced by TV Tokyo.
Meet the Three Main Characters
The story follows three energetic characters who travel from a distant planet called Pero Pero Sparkle Star to Earth. Their mission is to explore human culture and discover what makes things interesting and fashionable.
The main characters bring different personalities to the adventure:
- Mero, voiced by Yuki Sakakihara, is serious but occasionally absent-minded.
- Kyūn, voiced by Mai Kanno, loves fashion, cosmetics and following trends.
- Rū, voiced by Ai Fairouz, is extremely energetic and has a creative personality.
Voice actor Yohei Azakami will provide the narration.
Production Team Revealed
Mao Miyashita is directing the anime, while Yuji Umoto is responsible for series composition. Shiomi Yano is handling character designs, and Usagiou is producing the animation.
The project aims to bring Yurie Sekiya’s colourful character designs and playful world to television audiences.
A Fun Adventure Set on Earth
The three characters arrive on Earth to investigate interesting aspects of human culture. Their curiosity, magical abilities and different personalities lead to lively and humorous situations.
The television series is scheduled to begin broadcasting in January 2027. Its bright visual style and cheerful characters are expected to appeal particularly to younger anime viewers and fans of colourful fantasy comedies.
