New International Connection Opens Between Gujarat and Vietnam
Travellers from Gujarat now have a new direct international flight option as Vietnam Airlines has officially launched its Ahmedabad–Hanoi route. The first flights creating a direct air connection between western India and Vietnam’s capital.
The new service is expected to make travel between the two destinations more convenient while supporting tourism, business travel and cultural exchanges.
Four Flights Every Week
The airline will operate four round-trip flights per week using Airbus A321 aircraft. Services will run every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
The scheduled timings are:
- Hanoi to Ahmedabad: Departure at 5:35 PM, arrival at 9:30 PM.
- Ahmedabad to Hanoi: Departure at 10:45 PM, arrival at 4:35 AM the following day.
Ahmedabad Expands Vietnam Airlines’ Indian Network
With Ahmedabad added to its network, Vietnam Airlines now serves five Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. Its India operations have increased to 25 round-trip flights per week across seven routes.
The new connection also gives passengers from Gujarat more convenient access to Hanoi and onward destinations across Vietnam, including popular holiday locations.
The launch marks another step in expanding international travel connections between India and Southeast Asia.
